Account Executive/Outside Sales, Chicago/IL Region

The Sales Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving market share and driving opportunity that build pipeline for the field sales organization. The AE will be responsible for identifying net-new opportunity, developing and qualifying leads to the point of hand-off for the Sales Engineer. An implicit responsibility of the AE is to conduct business dealings with prospects/customers in a way that creates a superior prospect/customer experience that will set the stage for future sales for IDS.

Desired Skills, Experience & Responsibilities:

Build and manage sales pipeline: regional campaigns, cold calling, etc…
Achieve or exceed goals for net-new business on a quarterly basis.
Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions.
Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects.
Provide a weekly activity report to management.
Proactively continue company product and competitive product and market knowledge.
Update opportunity rank/stage and prospect interaction in CRM application daily.
Experience with Enterprise qualification, Director and above level contacts.
1+ years lead development experience, including outbound prospecting to Fortune 500 companies.
Proven track record at achieving measurable sales goals in a highly competitive environment.
Prior experience successfully overcoming customer objections.
Ability to work in a high energy, sales team environment.
Experience working and succeeding within a quota and commission structure.
Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (email, v-mail, MS Office).
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Certifications:

The most appropriate educational background might include an undergraduate business or technical degree. However, proven success at developing and leading sales organizations that have meaningful, positive impacts is more important than any specific academic credentials.

NetApp Implementation Engineer

IDS is currently seeking a NetApp Implementation Consultant with wide range of skills and experience. The consultant will be responsible for leading and managing customer deployments and projects. A strong candidate will have in-depth experience with the full NetApp product suite, in addition to in-depth knowledge and experience configuring SnapMirror, Sync, SANScreen, SnapManager and other provisioning and operation management tools. Individual should be highly motivated, desiring to work for a fast-paced and rapidly-growing company, and able to take an assignment and drive it through to successful completion. Some travel may be required. Travel will vary on a per project basis.

As a NetApp Implementation Consultant, your primary focus will be the design and implementation of NetApp storage architectures. You will be architecting, consulting, and implementing solutions for medium to large size businesses. As IDS’s NetApp practice continues its rapid growth, this individual could have the opportunity to grow in a Practice Manager with their own team.

Desired Skills & Experience:

NetApp NCDA certification (or NCIE-SAN) to support experience level ( or able achieve within 30 days).
Experienced with NetApp storage efficiencies (RAID6, Dedupe, Thin Provisioning, SnapShots).
Experience with current revisions of ONTAP Experience with associated technologies (servers & networks).
Experience with NetApp products in virtualized environments.
Knowledge of SnapManager products and able to implement them.
Experienced in NAS and SAN environments.
Experience with Installation/Configuration and ONTAP upgrades.
Strong knowledge of VMware.
Experienced with Brocade and Cisco FC SAN connection technology.

Certifications:

NAIP, NCDA, MCP, MCSA and MCSE Certifications are a plus.
